Hallo hallo!!!
Aimu bakku eburibadi!!!
Before I dump a load of photos I took, I'll tell you how I
wasted spent my time in Tokyo.
I got on the airplane to Tokyo on June 11th I think.
I was once again a standby passenger, and luckily I was able to get on the first day, plus I got on business class!

Since the world was panicking about swine flu a few months ago, we had to fill out a health paper, whether we had symptoms of swine flu or not.
When I got to the gate, all the airline workers were wearing masks. Not that I didn't expect them to be wearing them....(since Japan was going crazy about
the swine flu, plus they wear masks when someone is sick)
Yeah anyway, I got through security + the immigration line pretty fast because I'm a Japanese citizen....which means they aren't strict with their own people coming in.
Supposedly you aren't suppose to bring in any meat, vegetables, fruits, or other illegal things like alive animals (it's so confusing) but I had smoked salmon
in my bag for a souvenir for my aunt. My mom told me it's ok to bring it, but the flight attendant lady said it wasn't ok. -_-;;
But since I'm lazy and don't want to go through long lines, I checked the box saying I didn't have any of the things listed.
I'm such a bad influence.

I don't know how many days I was just laying around watching TV at our house in Tokyo.
Some days I just didn't feel like going anywhere. And since I kept spending my money on transportation and clothes, I was starting to run out of money. DX
Those days I just went to a close-by convenient store and bought cheap pudding and drinks, then sat around watching TV. (Hey, they have pretty good shows on)
Besides my lazy days, I walked around the train station close to our house and went to other places in Tokyo such as Ikebukuro, Shibuya, Harajyuku, Asakusa,
Awajichou, and other places I can't remember because it's been over a month.
I also had to go to Yamanashi prefecture again to do yard work at my mom's old house. (even when I thought I was having a relaxing vacation)
OOOOOOOOOOOk.....
so....
One day I was walking around the close by train station after shopping for cheap stuff.
I walked down to the underground walkway that goes under the rail road, when I heard some guy yell out to me.
Let me reenact what happened.
Random male college student - "Hey excuse me!!!!"
(I turn around to see a guy chasing me in a dark underground walkway)
Me- "Uh....yes? (did I drop something...?)"
(I was a little freaked out because no one was there except for the two of us)
Random male college student- "Um, hi. My name is Naoki. Would you tell me your name?"
Me- ".....(wth....)"
Random male college student- "Oh, sorry. I didn't mean to scare you. I wanted to give you this."
(he writes down his name and phone number and hands it to me)
Random male college student- "Here's my phone number....could you please call or text message me when you have time?"
Me- "um...ok"
Random male college student- "Thanks. Oh, um, do you have a boy friend?"
Me- "....no"
Random male college student- "Ok, yeah....bye!"
(And then he just runs off)
Honestly I thought I was going to be mugged at first. *dies*
But after that while I was walking back home, I realized I don't have a cell phone I can use in Japan.
Plus I'm only in Japan for a month or two every year, so that scene was pointless I guess.
Speaking of being approached, while I was hunting for bakumatsu history related merchandise at a history store, a middle-aged man wearing a kimono started
to talk to me about how great Sakamoto Ryouma and the Shinsengumi were.
It was pretty fun talking to him about our opinions about that time period.

(I'm such a history freak now)
And when I was on the train going to who-knows-where, a South African guy asked me in English whether the train we were on is going to Tokorozawa.
He told me that it was going to be his first time teaching at a English class there, so he didn't want to get lost.
Haha yeah, this year was so adventurous in a way.
Here are some pictures I took.

I thought that looked funny. XD

Somewhere around the border of Tokyo and another prefecture. Forgot which one.
