I got into Soul Eater about a month ago because my older sister said it was a good series. So I decided to read the manga and watch the anime.
The anime is VERY good. Everyone should watch it.  I've read the manga up to 380 or something on onemanga.com I'll be reading the rest of the manga when I have time.  As for the characters, I don't really understand why people hate Black Star so much. (Even though he may be loud at times, I don't mind that.) I think he's a pretty nice guy. ^_^ Death the kid and Stein are such good characters. Especially Death the kid. Such an epic win character!
